Roy E. ETTER, 66, former automobile dealer, died at the Ben Hur Nursing Home in Crawfordsville at 10;45 a.m. Monday. He had been in failing health for 15 years. Born in May 1900 he was the son of Lawrence and Amelia RICE Etter. He was married to Lucille RUSH. After his graduation from Crawfordsville HS Mr. Etter attended Wabash College where he played football and basketball. He was a member of the New Market Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge in Crawfordsville. The survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothea Gilmore of Speedway; two grandchildren and two nephews, Bill and John Etter. A brother, Lloyd G. Etter, died Dec 8, 1965. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Oble Reeves Funerla Home in New Market. Burial in Masonic Cemetery, Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the funeral home after Tuesday noon. - kbz
